I am not a labelWhy does it matter so much how you label me?  Why can't you just accept me for who I am without having to stick me in a box?  Why is it that we love these words that are only that, words, and that is all that they will ever be.  Words.  Not feelings, not people, not emotions, just words.  Yet they still hold such power, power that we seem to be oblivious to.  So we throw around these words because they simplify our world, and as a society, we love to simplify.  And again we are oblivious, oblivious to the fact that somethings can not be simplified.  Sometimes you I am not a label

The True MeMother, father, cousin, brother, friend,  this is who I am meant to be.  I am who I am, you cannot change that.  I may be different or strange,  but in our world, I have grown up,  learning it was okay, yet you still shun it,  in teenagers such as what I am.  Mother, "too young" you say,  "too many horomones, to know either way."  Father, who knows what you say,  never telling me how you feel.  Cousin, you are accepting,  Brother, you are too.  Yet jokes you both make, about everything,

Day OneDay One:   
She doesn't cry when she gets the pictures of her girlfriend at camp. Nope. Not a single tear.   
I mean, sure, they talk on the phone at EXACTLY nine o'clock every night.   
And sure, camp means five days without the 60 or so minutes of talking.   
But that's okay.   
That's not so bad.   
She doesn't cry when nine o'clock comes and goes without a phonecall.   
After all, it's only Saturday.   
She's got five more days to go.   
Oh God. FIVE DAYS.

What is da-gsa?
da-gsa means DeviantART's Gay Straight Alliance.
This is a place for everyone (black, white, chinese, gay, straight, bi, ect.) to feel safe and welcomed. This club is also for spreading the word about gay-tolerence. This club's goal is to try to make the world a better, more accepting, place to live, and with YOUR help, we hope to make this possible!

How do I join?
Just start watching us and you're in! We'll put you on a member's list and watch you as well!

Can I submit my art?
YES! Just send us a note and have on your devitation that you give us permission to post it on here, we'll post it and place a link to you and the origional. This is because here we support everyone, even the artists!

What can I submit?
ANYTHING, as long as it applies to accepting issues or anything GSA is about.

Is there any openings to be an admin?
Not currently ^^; There might be openings for admins if the club grows large enough and :icondark-blood-may: can't handle it by herself.
